Sometimes disputes must be decided in court.
Thankfully, full trials are rare in the areas of my practice (civil litigation, not car accidents, not family law). The litigation process is notoriously slow, inefficient and expensive. That was true even before the covid-19 pandemic largely closed down the system.
Most disputes come to an end somewhere along the road to a trial.
To get a beneficial settlement you must have strong fact collection, thorough research and at each stage show a willingness to continue to trial if necessary.
